Question by inapat1: Could at least 1 cruise ship “house” some of the needy in Haiti?
I checked the passenger occupancy and some of the ships could hold over 3000 passengers, comfortably. There are also the employee cabins. The floor would be better than those poor souls having to lay on the rock and in the dirt or on the concrete. Pool chairs could even be used. If it’s a matter of the cruise lines loosing money or financial concern, could some of the millions in relief money help? Also, how would one ask or suggest for this kind of help? Maybe this could help some of those in need.

100 rooms or less? That will be VERY hard to come by. Most of those resorts have well over 100 rooms, sometimes over 200. On the cheaper end you can try RIU.
