Question by Charlotte. Legacy.: Asking parents to bring a friend on vacation? REPOST.? For Winter Break this year, my family is going to the Dominican Republic or another Caribbean island. I used to have a sister (complicated), but not really anymore. In short, she won’t be joining us. I want to bring my friend on vacation with us. I haven’t asked my parents yet, and I want to know the best way to approach them about this.
My father is usually more willing, but my mother isn’t. I think the worst part will be her saying it’s a “family vacation,” but I’m going on a trip through Europe for Spring Break with my parents, so…
My friend has offered to pay her share (Brigitte, they so won’t make you do that), and I mean, I’d offer to pay as much as I could for her or for me from my own money…
I just don’t know how to drop it by them.

Answer by ThE uGlY tRuTh..fu alright…invite your friend to your house when your parents are there…just talk to them about your situation…im pretty sure your parents wont deny it since she is gonna be there right in front of them…and if they say no…just start feeling awkward and bad…you could also cry and tell them that she is the only friend you have…and you would really like to have her join you….good luck

Having a sippy cup with you, you can transfer drinks onto it, thus decreasing your worries of spillage and potential mess.
10. You should dress your kids with comfortable clothing. Do not make them wear special clothing that you would like grandma to see them in. Many things can take place in an airplane and they are kids for crying out loud.
