Why Choose Cruising Holidays?

Filed under: travel — Tags: choose, cruising, holidays, why — libertees @ 1:02 am May 25, 2012

Holidaying and travel in the 21st century has numerous options not only when it comes to the destinations, but also the choices of when and how we explore the world. Cruising has always been amongst the most popular ways of visiting various destinations when on holidays, and has nowadays reached the ultimate dimensions. Cruising holidays are suitable for all kind of holidaymakers and the myth that they are only suitable for the more mature or retired people belongs to the past. Families with children enjoy all kinds of facilities aboard the gigantic vessels from playgrounds, climbing walls, sports facilities, carousels, shows as well as highly professional specialized Kids Clubs and Kids Zones, all ‘under one roof’. And, if you add the all inclusive option, you could not possibly think of a better value holiday for the whole family.

Romantic couples and honeymooners also enjoy cruising holidays as the modern cruise liners provide anything from chapels and wedding ceremonies to honeymoon suites, spas and the most special treatment to make your occasion very unique and special.

There are also several specialist cruises, such as cruises solely designed for younger people and younger families and these for example do not require formal wear for the evenings and have adapted itineraries and entertainment. On the other hand, cruising can also be considered for corporate events as many ships offer state-of-the-art conference rooms as well as meeting facilities, not to forget gyms and social facilities including bars or casinos.

Cruising holidays offer endless possibilities and itineraries to explore the whole world. Just imagine yourself on a voyage round the mysterious Nordic fjords or the lush Caribbean islands providing fantastic exotic scenery. Discover the magnificent European cities and picturesque ports around the Mediterranean. Spend the days relaxing on the beaches of St Lucia, Barbados or Cuba or enjoy cultural excursions to cities like Venice, Istanbul, St Petersburg or Athens, and many others. Choose a long cruise taking you right round the Far Eastern Countries to Australia and Latin America. All of these itineraries will offer the most fantastic sights and unforgettable lifetime memories.

When on board of the ship, soak up the sun on the private deck of your luxury cabin whilst sipping your favourite cocktail, watch the variety and Broadway style shows, enjoy duty free shopping in the numerous malls, join in the fitness classes, swim in the pool, relax in the comfort of your accommodation and in the morning wake up in another magnificent port…

If you still have not decided if cruising is the best holiday option for you, the following points might help you decide with your choice:

- On cruising holidays you will not need to worry about any changes or connection times as everything will be taken care of for you from the moment you step on board of the vessel to the end of your stay

- You will visit plenty of destinations and resorts in different countries within a relatively short span of time

- Everything is at your disposal to use and enjoy whilst on board of the ship from fitness centres to shops, bars, restaurants, show rooms, swimming pools, casinos, deck promenades, spas, sporting facilities, to name but a few

- You will have the most fabulous all inclusive dining experience from sushi bars to French, Italian, Chinese and the most exotic cuisines you can imagine, not forgetting the most delicious seafood specialities. You will enjoy superb quality food, drink and bespoke service.

- If you are travelling with kids, they will be in their element when you take them to the professionally run Kids’ Clubs organizing the most imaginative activities and shows. This will also give them a chance to meet a lot of new friends.

- You will have access to hundreds of excursions with the most experienced tour guides, enabling you to get cultural insight into the visited destinations

- Cruising holidays can be a very economical and good value of going on a family holiday as everything is usually included. They can also be booked at the last minute and offer some excellent bargains.

- And finally…. Just think of all the wonderful views of the open sea and the ports you can get from the top decks of one of the many magnificent vessels

Make Family Holidays in Benidorm Fun For The Kids

Article by Tom James

Travel back in time at Terra Mitica, a reasonably new theme park which is the largest in Europe. The theme of the park is the old world with five themed lands including ancient Greece, Iberia and the Islands. You’ll be greeted by pirates, gladiators and comedy street performers along the way whilst those looking for a thrill will be racing to queue up for the park’s big adventures, such as SynKope, a giant discus spinning at 90 kph at an angle of 120 degrees or Inferno, Europe’s first ball coaster. For smaller children, Jabato, dodgems shaped like baby animals and Mithos, a mini traditional fairground carousel will be big hits.

Terra Natura is a great place get up close and personal with a whole host of animals and wildlife – not to mention a water park too! Pass through the Mighty Jungle of forests and lush natural vegetation from all over the world with more than 2500 trees and plants; see what life is like for locals as traditional villagers perform spectacular shows and acts for you to enjoy; marvel at the 1500 animals from across the globe as they live in as natural a habitat as possible. One of the park’s biggest pluses is the ‘Zoo Immersion’, a way for you to see the animals as if there are no barriers between you. Plus, the action is brought by Thrills and Spills, an area to swim with sharks and rays, fly through the skies on zip wires or plunge down an enormous water chute. If that doesn’t tire the children out, nothing will.

If your kids are the sort that love a run around, Aqualandia Water Park is a must on holidays to Benidorm. This conveniently placed aqua park has a range of water activities to suit every family member. Relax in the shaded areas, grab a bite to eat at the cafe or restaurant or make nap time fun time with a snooze in a hammock. There are also over 20 rides and slides to suit children of all ages whilst the zoo experience is a memory that’ll last a lifetime. The zoo experience will see your children come face to face with the zoo’s sea lions and swim, play and even feed them. Quite an experience for Spain holidays.

Travelling with children can be difficult, at the best of times. The relatively short flight to take you and your brood on family holidays in Benidorm could be enough to make the even most zen-like of people feel rather frazzled – entertaining children is a difficult task whilst on holiday, with cries of “I’m bored” heard more often than “hola” or “adios”! So when they’ve tired of the pool, complained about the beach and won’t sit still at another delightful restaurant, try some of these child-friendly activities to entice a smile from the little darlings.

Are all holidays “family” holidays, or are they “mixed” (adult, children, combined)?

Filed under: Blog — Tags: adult, children, Combined, family, holidays, mixed, they — @ 1:30 pm December 29, 2011

Question by Jonny B: Are all holidays “family” holidays, or are they “mixed” (adult, children, combined)?
My personal feelings on the issue is that holidays like Valentine’s Day, New Years Eve, Saint Patrick’s Day are “adult” holidays and children can enjoy them when they grow up. Holidays like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, are primarily “family” holidays. Birthdays belong to the individual.

I do have friends that try and make every holiday revolve around the children. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

I also think that certain portions of holidays are for children, i.e. Easter egg hunts, pinatas, Santa, etc…

Now, I realize that almost any holiday celebration can be transformed into adult or family or children. I’m asking who people think the main unmorphed holiday celebrators should be and which holidays belong to which celebrators.
No judgement here, just curious as to what people think and why.

I like your question. I believe it is appropriate to celebrate eves with adults and the Holiday with your kids. Unfortunately, I have no family to spend any Holidays with.

All Inclusive Caribbean Holidays Are A Steal Of A Deal

Article by surya s

The all inclusive travel plan has hit the mark and is here to remain. Regarded because the most cost efficient way to see the world, the all inclusive travel plan takes care of everything whether you choose a budget, moderate or luxurious design getaway. In addition to sensational savings around the top Caribbean island destinations, the all inclusive way to go ensures your peace of thoughts with all your bases covered and paid for before you leave your property city. The travel industry is changing, offering total package deals to meet consumer demands, and also the luxurious sun seeker has plenty of options for pricing, convenient departures and target destinations.Your luxurious Caribbean all inclusive plan covers your international airfare, round trip airport transfers, deluxe sea view accommodation, all meals from a brilliant buffet, and on-site recreation and seashore front activities to fill the day. In addition, wedding and honeymoon luxury Caribbean all inclusive holiday plans are available to tie the knot on a golden shore or re-live the passion and breathe life into romance again. The luxury Caribbean all inclusive deals are ideal for family travel, romantic escapes or a well-deserved self-indulgence for the solo traveler who wants it all. Regional actions that could be added to your Caribbean dreams consist of swimming with the dolphins, thrilling zip rides through the rain forests, challenging hiking and biking trails and village shopping for duty-free best bargain deals. To secure your favorite Caribbean island with your first choice of opulent resort, be sure to make your reservations early, at least one season in advance. However, late luxurious deals to the Caribbean islands abound with low cost package rates through the Bahamas to Bermuda. Though the Caribbean islands differ in terrain and ambiance, they all have one thing in popular: they want your business and they want it bad. So shop and save with consumer incentives to get the best and get it for less with early booking to secure your slice of paradise at the price you want to pay.

The area has at times been called the home of all inclusive holidays due towards the high proportion of that type of holiday package compared to other packages. You will find several reasons put forward as to why the number of all inclusive Caribbean holidays is great than the variety of bed and breakfast only Caribbean holidays. A lot of people believe that it is actually because of a drive to attract a greater number of tourists towards the area. It could just be due to the fact all inclusive vacations is usually cheaper overall and easier to manage. The variety of holiday offers continues to increase more than time as the demand continues to outstrip the provide. Each distinct sort of holiday caters to an unique need since some people may well have advantages in an unique area that other travellers could not have. An example of that could be if you are visiting family and friends during your Caribbean holiday then you would only need to pay for flights, but not accommodation or activities. If your flights towards the Caribbean have been paid for then only accommodation and food will need for being paid for after that. For most people though the option that is going to be more affordable is going to be an all inclusive Caribbean holiday. Quite a few tour operators that deliver that option will have options to cheaper transportation and accommodation than would otherwise be accessible.

The greatest problem for many people is, knowing precisely what you may reasonably expect for being included in an all inclusive package. The room costs will always been included in each and every rate quoted for a holiday, but that’s the only constant between just about every package. Food is included in all inclusive caribbean holidays , but not necessarily in other packages, depending on what sort of Caribbean package holiday is being offered. Quite a few people can get confused between a full board package holiday inside the Caribbean and an all inclusive Caribbean package holiday. A best holiday destinations full board package will contain breakfast lunch and supper, but not drinks, while the all inclusive package will include meals and drinks.

Amazing Cruise Holidays onboard Ocean Village

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: amazing, cruise, holidays, ocean, onboard, village — libertees @ 1:03 am November 24, 2011

True to its name, I felt that the ambience and charm of Ocean Village cruises is indeed simple and plain but really worth every penny we spend. It is indeed very memorable to be on Ocean Village’s Caribbean cruise. At the outset, the staff’s good etiquette caught my attention. I suggest you will not find a parallel like this on any other cruises you travelled so far. Second, I like the food onboard, with all its great varieties, and the dining service being superb for the fact that they saw to it, everything was ok and all requirements were met.

After my summer cruise holidays onboard Ocean Village, I felt so personal; really I will love to on this cruise again. Anywhere on the cruise the staff, greeted me in a sweet and sensible tone “hello sir” Even my colleagues onboard shared similar feelings about the gentle and soft spoken personnel, and of how they felt more secure and pleased. The cabin we were allotted was cosy and comfortable. It was well furnished to make us have a sound sleep the first night Susan and I had spent.

Most remarkable was the immeasurable happiness evident in the smiles of our son, once onboard Ocean Village. Oh! He shouted with joy, so many things to see, and activities to participate, so few days on this cruise…too difficult. Kids found that there is something different every half-an-hour. To accommodate kids and families alike, the restaurants onboard the cruise were kept open till 11pm. When we heard that there is a ready night nursery for younger kids, we felt more relaxed, as Susan and I could give more time to each other.

The adult entertainment was always my preference, though my friends had little taste for it. Kids really enjoyed the comedy, tribute bands, gymnastics including trapeze acts and shows on top deck. Visiting Caribbean onboard Ocean Village was different, for there are no formalities, anyway fixed to be followed. We really enjoyed by whiling away the time, relaxing in a friendly, and complete holiday environment.

Most specially, I liked the time I spent around the pool enjoying a cocktail. Susan developed a strong sense for work-out sessions in the gym, as she is very physique conscious. She also loved to be at the spa, and when she went missing, I cared not for I knew that I could locate her at the Spa. Well, I felt women are much focused to do what they love most. I loved to listen to bingo and when I found time in the evening went to watch my favourite movie.

I and my family were well taken care by the cruise staff. This is not just onboard, but equally on organized trips and visits. I remember still, when at ports-on-call, how our trip guide mentored us of places to visit, shops to visit and bargain, and deals to close. Extra care was taken by the cruise staff about our food and drinks, with due concern for health and hygiene on and off the ship. Any where we go, there was ready help available onboard to take care of our toddler, though the other one is a bit grown up and he can take care of himself and find his way through.

Cheap Family Holidays

Article by Robert Tellier

Cheap Family Holidays – A Variety to Choose From

Most of us are all looking for those affordable cheap family holidays, but just exactly what’s out there to choose from and where are the best places to go to find them? Well, I am going to try and shed a little light on what there is available and just how to go about finding what’s right for you and your family.

Taking a family holiday is great! It doesn’t matter if it’s just a small weekend get a way, or that long planned vacation away to some tropical destination or elsewhere in the world. If you’re like our family, spending anytime together seems to be a rare occurrence these days. What with everything going on with each others business, we seem to just pass by each other as we come and go out the door.

We’re all so busy with what’s going on with our own lives that we often forget to take a moment and spend precious time with those most important to us, family. Whether we go away for a weekend camping or plan a vacation, it’s always nice to spend the time together and catch up with one another once again.

At the same time, with the economy the way it is, it’s often difficult to just manage to get through each month, let alone afford to go on a trip of any kind, so if you’re like us, finding cheap family vacations is priority one! Well, there’s good news, if you’re willing to spend some time looking and planning, there are some great cheap family holidays out there just waiting for you!

Cheap Family Holidays – All Inclusive Vacations Galore

One of the best vacation values to be had and that we as a family have enjoyed for many years are those all – inclusive family vacations. These types of holidays are perhaps the best value for your vacation dollar available today. This is without a doubt a great inexpensive family holiday that we as a family of four have enjoyed for many years.

Why are these so great you ask? Price, that’s why. The value you receive for your hard earned dollar is unbeatable, especially if you’re traveling with children. Your usual discount all-inclusive vacations include airfare, airport trips, housing, meals, snacks, alcohol drinks and non-alcoholic beverages, activities and nightly theaters and shows. What more could you ask for? Unlike cruise holidays, leaving gratuities is not mandatory and is left entirely up to you the individual.

Most inclusive resorts offer fantastic deals when traveling with children. If your kids are under 12 or 13 years, they usually eat and stay absolutely free! Even if your kids are in their teens, you can still receive terrific price reductions off the normal adult prices listed.

Whether you have just a few days to escape or a few weeks, once you arrive at your holiday destination, you can simply relax and enjoy the vacation without having to always dip into your wallet every time you want something! This is without a doubt our favorite cheap family holiday and still is today with or without our grown children.

Cheap Family Holidays – Ever Taken a Sea Cruise?

One other great suggestion when looking for those great affordable family vacations is cruise holidays. Another terrific value family vacation for those on a strict budget and looking for the best price possible. We’ve experienced four great family cruise vacations over the years and again, what great bang for your buck!

In fact, cruise holidays are now measured as one of the leading vacation choices for families and after you’ve experience a cruise, it’s no wonder why. As each year passes, cruise companies constantly make never ending changes in order to accommodate travelers of all ages. In particular, designing and building new beautiful state of the art ships offering more amenities to suit people of all ages.It seems each individual cruise line is continually trying to beat one another with bigger and more extravagant ships, service, dining, on board activities and so much more. The competition is mighty within the cruise industry, with each wanting to win you over for their business and because of this there has never been a better and more affordable time to enjoy cruising.

Cruise vacations now offer the best possible holiday experience no matter where you wish to travel around the world. Except for extra cruise tips that you should include in your cruise planning budget, especially when you experience the service received from staff on board ship, the best part is that a cruise holiday experience is virtually all-inclusive!

Cheap Family Holidays – Gone Camping Lately?

Our family has been camping for years, taking us to some fabulous places in North America. Family Camping Holidays are super fun and a great way to reconnect with family members, especially while sitting around the campfire enjoying those yummy ‘Smores’! If you haven’t considered camping as a vacation alternative, perhaps you should.

Camping out is a great way to spend the holidays with your family and it’s very affordable too! You don’t need a big Class A motor home to enjoy camping! We started camping in a simple tent and often times just camping out in the back of our pickup with a canopy. We then moved up to a used tent trailer, saved our money over the years progressing upward to a 5th Wheel trailer and now owning a luxurious Class C motor home with all the bells and whistles.

Like the other cheap family vacations I’ve suggested, you can go camping easily in your own neighborhood for the weekend or plan that great family camping adventure to Disneyland or even the Nascar Races like we do. With some careful planning, it can be done on a limited budget that will suit most everyone.

There are all kinds of cheap family holidays to get you and your family on your way. These are just three of our favorites that we thought you and your family may enjoy as well.

Happy travels!
