Nanaimo Rental Cars To Vancouver
NANAIMO – For generations car buyers on Vancouver Island have known the slogan “go see Tom”. But little did Tom Harris know that the advice would be taken by a visiting Olympic team. “When the Slovenian Olympic team had tried to rent some vans back in the fall they found that there was nothing available,” explained Harris Friday. “All the rental agencies in Vancouver said ‘sorry, don’t have anything’ and so they were panicking.” Team Slovenia got in touch with Harris and he in turn contacted Budget in Nanaimo. Together they arranged to have four SUV’s sent to Vancouver. Budget says other organizations have also booked rental vehicles, and more than 30 from its Nanaimo location are being sent to the Lower Mainland for use during the Olympics.
